Hi Deborah,
The poor little dears! I have never heard of a blue or red and blue spirit but it occurs to me they may have seen the spirit's energy via color...like an aura.
When you are there do you ever feel or sense anything? This energy needs to go, especially if it is physically hurting the little ones. Diane
