: I have a daughter who is 14 however since she was 3
: years old she seems to had the ability to feel spirits
: or ghosts around her. 10 years ago which would make
: her 4 at the time we were living with a roomate who
: suddenly died in a car accident one morning on his way
: to work. That night and only that night she laid in
: bed and had a conversation with him. When I say
: conversation I mean asking guestion's getting anwere's
: and laughing at what she said were "funny things
: he said to her". Well for all these years I felt
: guilty because we had hung out late that night and he
: didn't get sleep. I was told (by his family)he fell
: asleep behind the wheel and crashed his car. Well let
: me go on to say that I have always incouraged her to
: believe in what she feels and hears. Well regarding
: the story of my roomate just a few month's ago for no
: reason at all she told me that he (the roomate) wanted
: to tell me that it wasn't my fault. She then told me
: how he had taken her put her in the back seat and put
: her seat belt on her and she was in the car with him
: he showed her what happened that morning, that it was
: an issue with the car brakes not falling asleep. I
: believe what she tells me only because she was not
: aware that I blamed myself. So it wasn't anything she
: would say to make me feel better. And more because of
: what I saw from her the night he died. She seems to
: also know things that are going to happen or at least
: that something is going to happen before it does.
: Last year her stepbrother was murder and she said he
: came to her a few nights before in her sleep and said
: goodbye. She wasn't very close to him as he was much
: older. These are just 2 examples of things that she
: experiences. Tonight she came to me and said someone
: is in her room. First thing that came to mind is
: someones in the house but she said no that wasn't it.
: I asked if it was male or female said she didn't know.
: But it wasn't a good feeling. One night she said
: someone tucked her into bed. She often tell's me she
: feels someone around her. She is only afraid because
: she doesn't know who it is. I'm not sure what to do.
: I do believe what she says and feel that she has an
: ability that could be fine tuned so she can either
: help them or herself whatever is best. It would be
: nice for her to understand this better. Any direction
: in where to go or what to do to help her understand
: and maybe myself at the same time. Or do I just sound
: crazy. Maybe I have been wrong in not telling her it
: is her imagination like my parent's did me. I just
: didn't want to ruin her for whatever she could
: experience.
: Thank you for any advice
: Tami
