Metalworking requires the right attitude and approach, you have to understand the metal and what it's doing, and it requires some certain skills.
It is HIGHLY addictive!
I've worked with metal nearly every day of my life, in some way or another, and am still learning new techniques, and (most importantly) I still enjoy it.

ps. whenever I get into a frustrating situation, like chasing a false-stretch around on a low crown panel, I just stop & regroup, think it through, and remind myself that I gotta be a little smarter than that piece of metal... if that makes any sense?
