On the rear wing windows I had a few problems with those seals. One kit set (from VB I think) was undersized and the furflex wrong. Same material was used on the doors in the kit. I then ordered them from Rimmer- the furflex is right but the rubber bulb part of the seal is much larger. The problem with this is the windows will shut with way too much pressure on the frame/glass. (especially at the hinge line) It will crack the glass for sure if you don't adjust the flange the seal rides on. (hammering it in some with a wood block) Same goes for the door seals from Rimmer. Nice, but not anywhere near the exact same size as the original seals.
Reminds me of why I'm so cautious of this... About 20 something years ago we replaced the door seals on my wife's Midget- same problem of a oversize bulb. We noticed the doors were overly tight when closed after installing- I figured they would take the shape and loosen up. Next morning after breakfast I see the windshield with a stress crack down the middle. A lesson I haven't forgotten.
Again thanks- Dan

: I may need to order a set eventually.
: I've got a couple spares of the wing
: windows, and of the two I have looked
: at (including the one I re-installed)
: there are stress cracks in the metal at
: the top corner. Hopefully at least one
: of my other spares aren't similarly

: Thank you for the link- that's what I
: need... Not cheap but I'd be willing to
: go that if they are a exact fit. If you
: had bought a set that would be my next
: question. I'm afraid they would be like
: some other reproduction seals and
: slightly off size. (too big, small,
: long, etc.) Possibly someone here that
: has bought a set knows?

: Hazen- Excellent work so far... Years

: I spent many days trying to better the

: One quick question- looks like you
: replaced the side window rubber seals.
: If so where did you purchase them? I

: Ok, one more...a side shot installed.
: That said, I have some adjusting to do.
: Gap is still funny and the wing window
: hits the windscreen pillar at the top.
: But, enjoy the side view. (I do have a
