Hindsight says I wish I could have bought that cherry Mk1 for $1500 the year I took it off the road, but I didn't have the money-probably because I had recently discovered a girl who eventually became my wife.
Now it's just become a goal to get it truly driveable again, after all these years. So close now, yet still so far away.
