Mike J. knows this was my FIL's last race. We also let the other drivers know that the car was going to be for sale as a "must buy all" package including the trailer and spares. I would consider this Vee to be a good learner car for a new driver and I think that's how my FIL would like to sell it. Rebuilding it from scratch to be truly competitive would probably be cost prohibitive. The other issue is that this is a Lynx-B which requires a smaller (narrower) driver than most the other styles of Vee. That might be ideal for a young person who hasn't put too many pounds on yet.

: The white TR-3 did well, beat his
: personal best time by a good bit, but
: in the feature race he got passed on
: the last lap coming on to the front
: straight, a Morgan beat him to the flag
: for a class win by .035ish seconds.
: Yes from all reports the weather
: sucked!
: Glad your FIL had a good weekend. If
: the V goes on the market, let Mike
: Jackson (red TR-3/FV guy, runs VDCA)
: know about it, very strong vintage V
: contingent down here.
