I like AN stuff, if suited for the application and budget, it's the real deal.
I distrust swaged fittings of unknown source, but Ted doesn't sell junk so they are likely fine.
The change in pedal feel is considerable as well.

: The U.K. vendor's kit that I was looking
: at is a set of SS hoses much like you
: are describing except it is not using
: AN fittings. The price is right but
: coming from the U.K.... I don't want to
: order it unless I am comfortable with
: the hose lengths. Sorting out length
: issues long distance isn't something I
: relish. I could simply order a kit
: from TSI. Ted's prices aren't bad at
: all.

: I have worked with larger AN fittings
: and making my own hoses for other cars.
: I have never considered making my own
: brake hoses. It's an interesting idea
: that I will give some serious
: consideration to.

: I think it boils down to consolidation
: of
: parts over the years, like it fits and
: will work but isn't exactly the same as
: the original.
: I have a few part numbers in the old
: Girling book but that won't help you.
: Another option, if you aren't
: concerned
: with originality, and the additional
: cost, would be to convert the flex
: hoses over to whatever length -3
: Aeroquip/AN fittings and never ever be
: concerned with them again ...
