I'm sure Glen will be along shortly but since I am dealing with the opposite issue I'll offer my suggestions.
Presumably, you are experiencing colder weather so the oil will be thicker (and pressure higher) until the engine is warm. Pay attention not only to the cold oil pressure but what it is once the engine is idling at temperature. If it is still too high there are things you can consider changing.
If your car has an oil cooler, block off its fins to see if the situation improves with warmer/thinner oil. If the coolant is not getting to 180 oF (almost midpoint on a C-N-H calibrated Smiths gauge), consider replacing the thermostat with a new one rated for 180 degrees. If still no joy, make sure the relief valve is not stuck (of course... you could check that first!)
If the situation is not improved after checking the relief valve, blocking the cooler, and doing what you can to insure "normal" operating temperature, you could try thinner oil such as 10W-40. If that's not enough, 10W-30 would be your next step "thinner".
What's it like to have too much oil pressure? I am envious!

: should I go to a light wt. Oil?
