Yes... I could have yelled at the machinist. I also could have taken my parts back from him. However, that would have just re-started the clock for how long it took another shop, further away, to do the job.
Now the parts are stuck in the trunk of my daily driver waiting for the rain to stop so I can bring them into the garage!!!
A new thread will likely be started with any questions or observations I have during the re-assembly process.
It's a good thing #2 son went off to college and didn't need a car his freshman year!
