I made a couple of simple tool and used a come-along between my daily driver and the front of my son's Spitfire. With tension applied to my homemade puller, a few heavy hammer blows pulled the damaged hinge box out and back into place (more or less). The quarter valences were easily pushed back into position. That leaves a little body work on the bonnet. The parts car came with a dented bumper that is in good enough shape to use so that will complete the repairs.
Now all I need is to get rid of the massive head cold(s) gripping my family and a few days of sunny weather to complete the repairs!
