Been a while. Got to work on the CGT this weekend. Not a bad effort:
* Suspension (including unique rear sway bar) DONE;
* Brakes (including Toyota four piston fronts) DONE;
* Both GT6 and Toyota transmissions were disassembled so I can take the input shafts into a shop and get them (it) finally fixed;
* Hanging Delco alternator mount (ala Andre) fabricated;
* Fuel pressure regulator (for the electric pumps) installed onto the chrome fuel pump blocking plate.
* Flywheel resurfaced and installed (DON'T FORGET THE PILOT BUSHING!!!).
* New pressure plate and clutch disc installed.
And you all are going to kill me for this one:
* I finished customizing the "rear wing".
Don't shoot me!!!
Of course the body is in pieces strewn all over the place waiting for a paint job and installation, but overall, not bad for two days work. I'll be back at the project over Mem-Day Weekend.
Hope you all are well,
Ciao! - Jim M
