You seem like a knowledgable and passionate Triumph owner. I have tried to stay away from Triumphs and have occasionally skirted an association by racing Loti which of course would have never have existed without a host of doner parts from Triumph. Unfortuantely, I found myself owning Triumph today, and it looks like I am going to need parts and advice. The GT6+ has been a race car all of its life and has never been titled on the street. It has been aa SCCA E Prod car all of its life and looks to have been abandon in the mid 80s. I picked it up today in a swap for the old Sunbeam Tiger you may remember. Do you think you can spare some advice for an old British car buddy? I'll be Vegas this week for the gaming show and if you are the same Steve Smith I used to race with, I would love to catch up.

: Guys,
:
: Looking for some bits this morning I
: noticed that 40 years of Triumphs and
: twenty years of racing are starting to
: pile up loads of parts.
:
: I watched a backhoe clear out my
: mentors stash after he died and I'd
: hate to think of a similar fate for
: these parts. Keep me in mind when
: you're looking for something. It'll
: either be free or at least cheap
: depending on how much I like it. You'll
: pay shipping of course
