Dash pad"
The hard plastic overlays look like crap in my opinion. Granted the near 300 dollars for the replacment vynil is a hefty investment and the work to clean off the metal under that pad is estensive. There are six 10mm nuts that hold the dashpad on. They also incorporate the defrost vent metal trim hold down and pins for the tonneau cover on the spitfire dash. There is no substitute for a redone dash though. You combine that with a fresh face on the wood facia and the car comes alive again. --Previous Message-- : Ok, so I now have beautiful wood but the : black dash pad is caca. How are the : PVC ones compared to the : "new" ones? : : Thanks, : : Lester : :
