Of course a single unclosed sale on ebay doesn't dictate the market value of course but it's good to see some interest in the GT-6. They have always been under-rated and valued IMHO, just like the MGBGT.
This does seem a bit steep for a (nice) cosmetic restoration though. When it's down that far it makes no sense at all to not got through the engine and box. If it is in such good shape it will just need a teardown and inspection and a light freshen-up, which isn't THAT much work considering all the other work done...
