I've been working on the new instrument panel layout (should be sweet). And I've been testing the various components so I want have "too" many surprises when the ignition is finally turn on. (Don't laugh - it WILL happen! - lol)
When checking out the connectivity of a late model windshield wiper switch (with integral washer pump) I got some weird results. With the switch off, terminals one and two were connected - good. With the switch in the "Low Speed" position, terminals two and three were connected - good. However, when in the "High Speed" position, only terminals three and four are connected.
Is this right? I was expecting two and four to be connected in the High position.
If someone has one of these switches that's known good, could you test this out for me. Or if someone has the switch's schematic - that'd do as well.
