John. I'd throw my two cents worth in here if I could.. My feeling here is that if it's not a racecar it's not worth maxing it out.Reliability is worth way more than that last horsepower or two. I tried to stay at 9.5:1 compression. so that pump gas is the norm. The cam I'm running is made by Elgin Cams The grind no. is 66.25-15 .265 Seat duration .263 Lobe lift They claim it's the highest lift cam you can use in the TR or GT6 without installing cam bearings. I'm not a cam whiz but I tried this cam out and have stuck with it for several years. Gives a decent idle excellant excelleration and I have yet to run out of top end power. Weber carbs and a header. Aluminum flywheel etc.. This is a street car though so I don't ever go over the speed limit?/,>:l//
Hope that helps some. P.J.
