John have you measured the chamber volume?
There is no "set" amount to mill for a certain CR, due to variations in deck height, gasket thickness, valve head shape, seat depth, any previous chamber mods, etc.
Even though it isn't a racing engine, you will still be close to the limit on fuel available, so it will have to be pretty accurate.
