Rear diff question

It's the usual thing...just bought a Spit-6 conversion, but the previous owner didn't change the rear diff out, so it is still driving a 4.11:1 with the GT6 drivetrain. I'm looking for a 3.27:1, but as I figured they are few and far between. Anyone happen to have one or know of a good place to find one? I've inquired at TeamTriumph, and they've yet to reply. Also, is there anyone who knows about the possibility/difficulty of cracking the diff and throwing in new gears? I've been looking at the diagrams of the Spitfire vs. the GT6 diffs and they look pretty much identical but for the gearing. Thanks in advance. Phil
