Steve-
I might take you up on that. I just purcahsed a pair of the alloy vert links and was not sure how to proceedd. My car currently has the old Corvair hub upgrade with some kind of axles with universal joints. Could be TR6. I thought those u- joints would soak up more hp than the newer cv joint deal. Any thoughts?

: MGF/R100 hub is considerably stronger
: than the original. The modern bearing
: pack is alot easier to work with too.
:
: It's a nice conversion and works well.
: The drawback for US folks is that none
: of the donor vehicles (Rover 100, aka
: Metro and Volvo 340) ever made it to
: the US market. I can sell parts but it
: will cost about the same as the Canley
: set-up, plus shipping plus core
: surcharge (or return shipping). An
: alternative would be to get your
: vertical links machined locally (fairly
: simple operation)and just import hubs,
: shafts and adaptors. It is quite
: possible that it could be duplicated
: more or less using parts from cars that
: are common in the US.
