No specific advice, except don't buy a welder that doesn't have a fan built in. They all have a thermal cut out, to protect the transformer etc. My first welder was fanless, and after about twenty minutes the cutout would go. It would take two or more hours to cool down.
I added a fan, by strapping a small extractor to the casing, and it never cut out again!
Also, don't buy the 'gas-less' type, that rely on a chemical in the wire to provide the 'inert gas' bit. It only works in absolutley still air. Any breeze and the gas gets blown away and welding suffers.
OH! I assumed that you are looking at MIG welders. IMHO, MIG is the easies by far and cheaper than gas, and works on thinner panels than arc. So MIG.
