Oh man it's easy for any early 1500 model! I have a '74 model so from experience I can tell you this... All you have to do for the front is remove the guards; they might be troublesome due to the bolts and inner receiver rusting on so cutting them (the bolts or the guard)at that point is an option. Then remove the large boiler plate that is bolted to the hinge box behind where the guard use to be. By removing these bolts the front bonnet will be momentarily disconnected so mark the position of these bolts so the front bonnet alignment is not disrupted. You also remove the little over rider alignment plates behind the horns on the front as these will no longer be needed. When you get a pair of the earlier underriders (european version) the fiber glass or the better original plastic, be sure to bend up the tab that was flattened on the your car to accept the USA guards, it's just underneath the hinge box itself. The grill will then interlock with the smaller overriders as it was designed for. The rear is even easier, just remove the bumper guards and the guard brackets by unbolting the bumper and removing the brackets behind it and underneath, that's it! -Steve
