: Question for someone. Is there a seal
: on
: the front of the transmission? I took
: off the bellhousing, and saw a paper
: gasket between the bellhosing and the
: transmission, but no seal for the input
: shaft. Am I blind? Help anyone?

: Glen, what keeps transmission oil from
: working its way out that bearing then?
: Would my 74 have no seal?

You know I thought it may be some sort of thing like that, when I saw the threaded looking area in the housing. Sure hope it works OK. sure would be nice to get a seal in there.
