Yo Mark,
We had a big discussion on the frame color about this time last year. On another forum. Concensus was that the early frames were all black and only later did the frame become body color. I'm vaguely remembering the change over being about 71???
It was either on the Club Triumph Forum or DaveSideways tuning forum.
