The louvered rear hatch was definately an after market item. I had one on my second GT6 (mid-1970s) that was a black molded plastic item. I think I got it from J.C. Whitney. I recall seeing black anodizided aluminum hatch covers on Z-cars & such that was really nice. I was unable to find a version for the GT6 though. There is a company called "Wilpak Industries" that does hatch covers but their web site does not list individual products.
