I do have a copy of the shipping documenation that was in an envelope with a light switch recall notice from 1969.
It may not scan well, but tomorrow I will try to get it posted.
I also have a letter, dated 1977 or 1978, from British Leyland written in response to an inquiry by the car owner. The letter confirms the belief that the car was competition equipped from the factory.
I will scan and post this as well.
I have no doubt that this is authentic. I had known the owner more than 25 years.
I am an enthusiast and did not buy the car to sell.
I just hope to find someone that can fill in the blanks.
