I thought the same thing, but the price of stainless wasn't fitting into my GT6 budget, so I just got the Monza.
And actually...I really like the sound, makes it sound like a bigger engine, and it's not as loud as others act like it is.
Two downsides:
1. not stainless (I dont' drive the car in winter and it's garage-kept, so that's not an issue for me)
2. quad tips (twin tips on two exhausts). I don't reallylike this and will rectify by cutting off the twin tips and putting singles (so it will have 2 single tips).
As for performance, I can't see that it would be a problem...
It's all up to what you want. Purists hate the Monzas and like the bell because it "looks British". I'm not purist, so I really don't care personally.
