Strange, it is, how some small business owners never seemed to take the "customer relations 101" class. PRI has good products, but crapola customer relations. I've seen this with a couple of motorcycle parts dealers, too. Amazing how they can get away with it.
I had a small business for 12 years and busted my rump to be nice to customers. It's part of the deal, you've got to at least try to be cordial with customers.
