Yep, that's the difference between PRI, who seems to be in it first and foremost for the money and bragging about their "cool" parts (um..daytona wing??), whereas you have Ted from TSI or Steve Smith or Steve Downing who will sell you something, but will let you know if you don't need it, and will discuss your car issues with you. They're in it for the love of the cars more than the money it seems, and that's the way it should be.
Heck, even Victoria Brit, Spitbits, etc have done a pretty good job at keeping their parts fairly reasonable, especially considering the limited supply an limited market...
Actually i was going to bite the bullet and buy a couple parts from PRI earlier this year (notwithstanding the attitude), and when I check their "new" site, lo and behold all the prices have gone up like 20%...

: Yeah, I'm not buying anything from PRI.
: The few times I've emailed with
: questions (planning my course for the
: car) I've gotten the response
: "we'll talk when you're ready to
: buy." And other emails never
: returned. That, and the fact that
: they're ridiculously overpriced. It's
: cheaper to order from UK, frankly. Too
: bad, because they make some nice stuff,
: but I've gotten nothing but bad vibes
: from them.

: PRI also manufactured headers for GT6s
: recently. Contact Chris Cancelli at
: PRI, they may have some now or possibly
: will manufacture more in the future.
:
: Pretty pricey, but a good product.
:
: Let us know . . .

: Josh, You are so right about that PRI
: guy. He is an ass. He has no
: personality, and NEVER returns e-mails,
: and slower than death sending out
: products after you pay for them. I
: don't understand that guy. Very poor
: business man, and much over priced
: stuff.
