GT6 racing spark plugs

I was recommended by my engine builder to use Champion C57 but they only seem to last a weekend (2 hours) racing and then the engine starts spluttering above 5000 rpm (I can go up to 7000 rpm). I replaced them with regular NGK plugs and every thing works fine. What plugs do you racers out there use?
