I agree with Glen. However, the bolt holes in the block are only 5/16 and I am uncomfortable with the weight of the engine cantilevered on the bolts - effectively only the top two are in tension on an engine stand. I usually do most of my assembly work on a bench and when the engine is on the stand I keep a chain hoist attached to the front end to take a little load off.
