I built one of those years ago based on a Moroso? Small Block Ford three gear setup. No Gain. It has more friction losses than the chain. Eventually sold it to someone on the East Coast that used to post here. It was pretty easy to do but hard to market as the idler gear didn't incorporate any adjustability. Ideally that should be on some eccentric to compensate for any block variations. Oh well...
Oh-The cover has to be massaged a bit at the bottom to clear something.
