I know I have been out of touch with you guys but times have been tough and I was having boat issues as well.
Many of you know my daughter Nichole. She lost her first child this past Friday at CMC. She was a beautiful little girl named Zoey Michelle and although I never had the chance to know her, I loved her dearly and will miss her with all of my heart.
We are requesting memoials to be made to the "Zoey Michelle Smith Memorial Fund" c/o Alan Verdin, 105 N. Woodcliff Ln., Mount holly NC 28120. I will also be opening an account at Bank Of America today under the same name.
Everyone has been so helpful as far as the services go. Woodlawn has donated their time and service and Hillcrest Park has donated time as well for the burial. The kids ( I says kids because she will always be my little girl) need all the help they can get to purchase the marker for Zoey.
Any help will be greatly appreciated to help them through this tough time. I hope to see you on the water after this is behind us and even though I may not be at the weigh-ins, I consider each and every one of you my friend.
