Hey guys the championship tournament for this year is going to be a little different as far as the payout goes but the point system will remain the same with the exception of the double point event for the final tournament. Here is a rundown of the rules for those not familiar with the system. You may enter at Midway the morning of the tournament when you sign in.
RULES
1. First place points will be decided by the number of entries into the tournament. (total entries not just the boats in the point race)
2. Second place will get one point less for each position finished behind the first place boat. Third and on down the line would follow suit.
3. If the boat that wins the tournament is in the point race that boat will receive three bonus points.
4. In an effort to promote live release each boat that is in the point race will receive one bonus point for releasing their fish alive.
5. All point championship teams must have the $60.00 entry fee turned in by the second tourney of the season. (Dec.14th)
6. A team not weighing a fish will receive last place points instead of a zero.
7. If there are two or more teams with the same weight, the tie will be broken by the order in which the fish were brought to the scales.
8. The final tournament of the season in April will conclude the championship tournament and will be a double points event.
9. We will be paying the top three contenders this year in the championship. The payout will be based on the same percentages of the monthly tournaments.
Any questions or suggestions for future events fell free to give me a call or shoot me an e-mail.
