1. First place points will be decided by the number of entries into the tournament. (total entries not just the boats in the point race)
2. Second place will get one point less for each position finished behind the first place boat. Third and on down the line would follow suit.
3. If the boat that wins the tournament is in the point race that boat will receive three bonus points.
4. In an effort to promote live release each boat that is in the point race will receive one bonus point for releasing their fish alive.
5. All point championship teams must have the $60.00 entry fee turned in by the second tourney of the season. (Dec. 9th)
6. A team not weighing a fish will receive last place points instead of a zero.
7. If there are two or more teams with the same weight, the tie will be broken by the order in which the fish were brought to the scales.
There will be two different champions at the end of the season. The first will be the point race champion who will receive sixty percent of the total prize fund and a point race champion trophy. The second will be the winner of the fish-off tournament which will be held the third Sunday of April (one week after the final club tournament). The entry fee for this tournament will be the same as a regular club tournament and will pay out the same way. The exception is that this is not an open tournament. This tournament will be held for the teams who competed in the point race and the remaining prize fund will be added to this payout and a trophy given to the tournament champion.
