Posted by Rawhide on July 25, 2007, 8:20 pm Dear NFA Membership: The annual blessing of Lake Norman was completed in early June, thanks to Lake Norman Striper Swipers and NFA. NFA membership is now 94 for 2007. Our six month tournament season was a good one. Winners for 1st place were Glenn Heffner, Grey Brookshire (2 times), Phil Long, Greg Molesky, Dean Rhyne and Wes Gilmore. These men along with the 2nd and 3rd places won a total of $19,500.00. NFA annual meeting and fish fry will be Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Location is at Gander Mountain near Walmart in Mooresville. Dues for the upcoming season of $25.00 can be made at the fish fry. If you cannot attend, please mail dues to the address above. If you miss this meeting, you may be docked 16 oz. at weigh-in. Fishing tournament dates will be the same as last season, the second Sunday of each month. November 2007 thru April 2008. Entry fee will be the same: $100.00 per boat also a $10.00 sidepot. 100% pay back for 1st, 2nd and 3rd big fish. Roger Morrow will again be the weigh master. Rules will be the same. "NO" fishing north of Buffalo Shoals bridge. This means no river fishing. Shane Reel will be the Chairperson of a new points system for those who want to compete. Entry fee for the point fund to be given to Shane at each tournament.
