Points are counted from the total of all weeks. If you don't pay in one week, you get no points thus dropping your average for the year. You don't have to fish to get points but you must enter. All people who don't weigh a fish in any week get the same points. The amount varys depending on number of entries, fish weighed and any ties get the points. For example 34 people fished Sunday. 32 were members so 32 points were at stake. First place took 32, second took 31 and a three way tie for third so 30 each for them. this went down to the smallest who got 23 points. All other members who paid in whether fishing or not got 22 points. If they paid in last week the points were added to that for a total. If not then they have what they got for one week. At the end of the year the member with the most points wins. It is very important to pay in each week and try to catch a fish to bring to the scales to make more points.
