white perch for kids

Just got my stolen boat replaced and rigged to fish. I have 3 kids and want to get them hooked up with white perch. What are the perch doing with the current lake conditions? Schooling on humps? I will be putting in at Stumpy Creek, any advice on where to go?
Second item, where is the membership info now?
