I agree with the last post. Lack of The Empress, Rios, Market Tavern on hold etc...lack of local metal all dayers, things have moved on, people get older, have kids (lose interest - God Forbid!) There is still a scene in Northern England, just maybe not as much around Bradford. There are still a number of bands, there is still the Gasworks, it just doesn't seem as prolific or close knit as before
