Ah, you seem to remember it through Rose tinted glasses like me!!! A few jars in the Biko Bar or the Mannville then off to Rios to see who was around. I moved away in the late 90's so probably didnt see the change like you did, it was always a good giggle there and you knew nearly everyone, like you said, you could go there on your own and be gauranteed to bump into folk that you knew and have a whale of a time!! (nice ladies too) ;-)
