Posted by DDDanger Greetings warriors! Rumours are beginning to spread about plans for Conquest so rather than suffer confusion here are the facts. The 7” has morphed into a 5 track EP, which will contain a brand new track from the forthcoming album, two exclusive tracks, and two re-recordings/ re-workings of Steel favourites "Righteous Victory (of War)" and "Steel is the Law." The shop release date for this latest chapter in metal history will be Nov 13th. (with a release party taking place on Nov 24th at the Market Tavern in Bradford). In the meantime the recording of the album nears completion and the band will be re-entering The Priory recording studio in mid October in order to begin the arduous mixing process. As it stands the album should hit the shelves February 2007 although the band have yet to decide who will have the honour of releasing it. For all you vinyl fanatics the 7” with Killer Metal Records is still planned but is unlikely to appear until summer 2007, when it should emerge containing two exclusive and highly conceptual pieces of Heavy Metal. Meanwhile the band are up and gigging and have every intention of making your eardrums bleed very soon. The EP tracklisting is as follows: May Your Blade Never Dull We'll have some preview tracks available on www.conquestofsteel.co.uk soon - watch this space! Link: May Your Blade Never Dull
