Hello. I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question, but i will give it a shot. I saw the movie "Saturday Night Fever" a couple of days ago for the first time. I was carried away by a melody which was played and i've have been looking for the name of the song since without luck, so i thought that maybe some of you could help. The melody which I think is instrumental and sounds a bit like something Arabic/Egyptic is only played for about 10-20 seconds. It is played while a latin couple are dancing in the dance contest before Travolta and his partner are going to show off their dance moves. I have listened to all of the soundtracks, but unfortunately i can't recognize the melody in anyone of them and i don't think it is anyone of them.
An extra information: I have also heard the melody been playing for a short time in the movie "Dead Poet's Society" when some students are having fun at a school.
I think most people can recognize the melody when they hear it.
Please help me!
Thanks.
