There was an original 70 1/2 Falcon at Carlisle All Ford in PA , and the price was untouchable by the average collector .
If you locate what is scripted as a 1970
429 Cobra TORINO , and it is a POST car , it is in actuality a rescripted Falcon .
Ford supplied the dealers with Torino scripts to put on the Falcons because the Falcons began NOT to sell and this was Ford's answer to selling these cars off .
