I have a 170 special motor & original 2 speed auto trans out of my 63 for sale. I removed it from my conv. to do a complete retore job. I've decided to replace it with a 200 and a C-4 when I put it back on the road. They both have been stored in a very dry gargae building with as fluids installed. I installed a new cylinder head, exhaust manifold, carb. water pump, stainless fuel line fuel pump,flex plate, cap, rotor wiers. when I had the head off the top of the pistons said 0.30 over, it must have been gone through, because it has 60 PSI of oil pressure, and not a single engine nosie, as most do, especailly valve train, this one was so quite that you couldn't hear it run. As for the trans. it has less than 500 miles on it, I had it completey gone throughby a trans builder, as well as a new converter.
