Posted by Matt I have an older canoe book that describes a put-in below Pontiac Mills Dam but searching on the internet shows that there was supposed to have been a new canoe launch installed last year sometime ? Does anybody have any information about the best put-in below the dam ? I am not from the area and would like to have the details ironed out before my outing (16SEP2007). Thanks for any help !

It seems that the best (only) put-in is currently at the Greenwich Village Apartments...
From Warwick Mall head south on Rt 5, cross the river and take the first left into Greenwich Village.
