70.188.128.36We just paddled the palmer river yesterday but put in was in Warren. Take Kelly Street at the light across from Liquor Store (off Main Street) just over the Warren Bridge coming from Barrington. There is a large field you can park in right at the end of Kelly St road and putin right there. We paddled all the way to 195 underpass. Beautiful. Little beach on small island to rest on as well. As a club trip we have not run that river this year yet. If you do paddle it, we would love to know if it is open. We usually put in on Providence Street also. - Re: Palmer River

I have done that trip for many years and can not remember any blockage you couldn't get around easily. It's quite another matter if you head upstream from Providence St.
