found made all the difference in world. I paddle
all day in comfort. I also found this website

72.200.144.15I Had the same problem when I started with my backband. I retrofitted an IR ( immersion research ) Reggie backband and it is very comfortable and very adjustable. The back straps are ratching so you can tighten or loosen while in the boat. I will be at this weeks paddle if you want to take a look. Bottoms are more difficult, true sea kayakers carve thers out of foam. NRS does sell a couple of seat add ons, if you do this get the soft one, I tried the hard one and it was uncomfortable.
