WHERE TO MEET: Isham Street, Mystic (drop-off site)
PARKING:Everybody can park at the FREE public lot (Mystic Seaport Parking Lot) After dropping off kayak, go back onto Isham Street & take left.The large parking lot will be on your right.
KAYAK LEADER: Lilly Wong (Pls. confirm your attendance by Thurs. - via e-mail to Lillymei46@yahoo.com OR have any questions). DOES ANYONE HAVE A KAYAK (Lilly) CAN BORROW, PLS. Send me e-mail.
NOTE - Things to bring: LIFE JACKETS REQUIRED BY LAW; whistle;lunch/snacks/beverage; binoculars; sunscreen; hats; sunglasses. Credit Card/ Money to spend .
Changes and cancellations to trips will be posted on the flatwater message board. Please check the board before leaving for any trip.
An easy paddle around the harbor, scenic historical Mystic Seaport & up a very scenic
passage way. Gray herons, mallard ducks, swans and geese nesting and multiple other
species of birds live here.

first come basis.
Rental Rates:1 hour $35; 5 hours - $48
DIRECTIONS TO MEETING PLACE: (From Rhode Island) to Isham Street in Mystic, CT
I-95 South to Exit 90 (Downtown Mystic/ Aquarium). Take a left off the exit & go straight towards downtown for approximately 1..4 miles. You'll drive past the Mystic Seaport & Parking. Isham Street will be on your right.
Lilly (me) will meet everybody at the drop-off site @ 10:30. And would like to start kayaking by no later then 11:00 o'clock. I am giving everyone time to drive to Mystic.
We are starting a bit later but you'll have a great time and I planned it so that it'll give everybody time to do something afterwards (enjoy the Mystic area/ get some dinner.
We can all go to Mystic Pizza (where Julia Roberts' 1st movie made her famous).
If miss us or planning on being late - pls. let me know your cell # so that I can call you and let you know where we are. Send me an e-mail when confirming your attendance by Thurs. Oct. 1st.
