Some of you may be headed to the Adirondacks with Henry Dziadosz the first week in August, while perhaps some of you may have liked to go but could not make those dates. Well, here is another, somewhat different opportunity.
My wife Cindy and I are headed up to the 'Daks August 9, and staying at Lake Eaton Campground for 2 nights...this will be an opportunity for at least one nice day trip on the 10th.
On the 11th, our plan is to head to Little Tupper Lake for a more wilderness setting: paddling to a lakeside or island campsite with the boat for primitive camping (sites are generally equipped with a privy and a fire ring and not much else). We will stay two nights, on either Little Tupper or nearby Rock Pond, or both. We would welcome company, probably no more than 2 or 4 other people (space is limited on these sites); this is a nice opportunity to gain some canoe or kayak camping experience.
