We paddled the namasket river last week and had a great time, we put in at the Lakeville middleboro herrin run and had no problems. we continued to the second bridge past the rt 44 fish ladder and there were no blowdowns, it took just about an hour from the oliver mill park on 44 to the second bridge. it was clear paddling to here. we did notice that right after this bridge there was a blowdown so Id expect more if you continued. We encountered a rotten carcaus as soon as we launched at the first herrin run. the water was moveing nice and we enjoyed dodging the rocks. But as I said there was no portaging from the lakeville middleboro herrin run to the second bridge past oliver mill park. in fact the mile or 2 so after oliver mill was perfect. very serene. was very happy we did not take out at the mill. The wate level at that bridge shoed 5.4' I believe. Just wanted to give eveyone a heads up
