Can anyone suggest a good website for tide charts or tell me what I might be doing wrong? High tide always seems to be about 1.5 hours later than what we think it should be according to the chart on www.mainharbors.com/ri website. For example, today's high tide in Warren, RI was supposed to be at 11:28am. We were in Palmer River in Warren/Rehoboth line at 11:30am and tide didn't start to go out until well after 1pm. We always seem to get it wrong. Can anyone clue me in? In fact, I've decided I'm going to name my boat "Against The Tide" because we get it wrong every time. lol
I'd appreciate any input.
